Story Time begins at the Rocky Ford Public Library, 400 South 10^th Street on Thursday, September 8 at 11:00 a.m. Theme for the day is BUGS! Story Time is a free program open to all pre-school age children. Activities include stories, songs, games, simple crafts and lots of fun. Programs continue weekly through May 2012. During August the Rocky Ford Public Library added 84 new titles and was used by 4,172 patrons bringing the year-to-date total to 29,176. Twenty-four new patrons visited, bringing the number of new patrons for the year to 188. Changes made to the patron list included the deletion of 351 records, and the editing of 483 records.

The library computers were used by 1,737 people during the month, year-to-date use was 11,199. The circulation of items came in at 1,808 for the month, bringing the year total to 13,790 items.
