No Interruption in City Water Service
A rumor has started that the city intends to interrupt city water service this week. This is false. Some additional work will be performed on the city’s transmission line from the wells to the storage tanks. The timing will depend on the weather. However, this work will not result in any interruption of water service to city customers.
The city always prints a notice of any planned interruption in water service in the Daily Gazette prior to the outage. In addition, the city will print these notices on this web page. Customers may always contact the city utility department at 719-254-7414 where concerns exist about planned outages.
