City Calendar

Members serve 5 year terms which end in June, overseeing all major tree planting projects in the city, recent tree board projects include the planting of additional trees at Babcock park, and the planting of new trees at the Rocky Ford Municipal Building. Members and the year in which their term expires are listed below:

The Rocky Ford Tree Board (“Board”) meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month except December at 3:00 p.m. at the Rocky Ford Administration Building, 203 S. Main Street, Rocky Ford, Colorado 81067. The Board acts pursuant to authority granted in Rocky Ford Municipal Code § 2.06.070.01. Shelly L. Simmons, Colorado State Forester, attends most Board meeting serving as a resource person.
